fa بررسی وضعیت پریودنتال و دندانی بیماران همودیالیزی و مقایسه آن با افراد سالم سایر تخصص هاي باليني Other Clinical Specialties پژوهشي Original <p align="justify"> <strong>مقدمه و هدف</strong>: مشکلات بهداشت دهان بیماران با نارسایی مزمن کلیوی میتواند سلامت سیستمیک آنان را به مخاطره بیندازد. هدف از این مطالعه تعیین وضعیت دندانی و پریودنتال بیماران تحت درمان همودیالیز و اثر مدت زمان درمان دیالیز بر روی وضعیت دهانی بود. </p><p align="justify"> <strong>روش کار</strong>: در این مطالعه که از نوع همگروهی تاریخی می باشد. 65 بیمار تحت همودیالیز و 65 نفر سالم انتخاب شدند. شاخص تعداد دندانهای پوسیده (D)، دندان های از دست رفته (M)، دندان های پر شده (F)، شاخص DMFT ،PI، GI و PD بررسی وبین دو گروه شاهد و مورد مقایسه شدند. بیماران همودیالیزی بر اساس مدت زمان دیالیز به دو زیر گروه : افرادی که سه سال یا کمتر از سه سال و آنهایی که بیشتر از سه سال تحت درمان دیالیز بودند تقسیم شدند.در این زیر گروه ها همه متغیرها بررسی شدند وآزمون های t ، مجذور کای با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS برای آنالیز آماری بکار گرفته شد. </p><p align="justify"> <strong>نتایج</strong>: بجز شاخصهای M و DMFT سایر شاخص ها تفاوت آماری معنی داری را بین دو گروه بیماران تحت همودیالیز و افراد سالم نشان دادند (P<0.05). شاخص های DMFT,F,M,D بین دو زیر گروه بیماران تحت همودیالیز تفاوت معنی داری را نشان نداددرحالیکه شاخص های PD,GI,PI افزایش معنی داری را در دو زیر گروه نشان دادند. </p><p align="justify"> <strong>نتیجه نهایی</strong>: وضعیت بهداشت دندان و پریودنتال بیماران تحت همو دیالیز ضعیف است و بویژه وضعیت پریودنتال با افزایش مدت زمان دیالیز بدتر می شود. </p> <p align="justify"> <strong>Background & Objective</strong>: Oral health problems of chronic renal failure patients can compromise systemic health. The purpose of this study was to investigate the dental and periodontal status of patients on regular hemodialysis (HD) maintenance therapy and the effect of duration of HD on oral health. </p><p align="justify"> <strong>Methods & Materials</strong>: In this historical cohort study 65 HD patients and 65 healthy people were collected as case and control groups. Decayed (D), Missed (M) and Filled (F) teeth, DMFT Index, Plaque Index (PI), Gingival Index (GI) ,and Probing depth (PD) were examined and compared between case and control groups. Also, HD patients were divided into two subgroups based on duration of hemodialysis: 1: three and less than three years and 2: more than three years). In this study all variables were examined and compared between these subgroups. T-test and chi-square and SPSS software were used for statistical analysis.</p><p align="justify"> <strong>Results</strong>: Except M and DMFT index, significant differences were found in other indices between case and control groups (P<0.05).
