In 1979 a study was carried out in north of Tehran and 6000 persons were observed that out of whom 1.6% had active lesions and 13% had scars. At present study we visited 3449 students 7-14 years old that 0.95% of them showed active lesions and 6.25% the scars. The comparison of the results of this study and the previous study shows that the cases have been increased in Darakeh but there isn’t any significant difference between them in Evin.
