This is a cross sectional design and its target population are people accompanying the patients who referred to emergency department (n=342). Sampling procedure was done as quota sampling Assessment tool of satisfaction of people accompanying the patient in emergency department was developed by researchers after identifying validity & reliability. The results of the study indicates that 47.7 percent of people  accompanying the patient have satisfaction from emergency department. Results found that there is no significant difference between kinds of hospitals, education, reference times to hospital, referred to ward and patient’s fate and satisfaction of people accompanying the patient. Whereas, between age, sex, martial status of patients and satisfaction was not seen significant.
