All patients who referred to Kerman Hospitals during 1998-2000 had experienced lumpectomy or mastectomy and concommitent surgical slides were also reviewed by the same pathologists for definite diagnosis. The agreement of two pathologists in the study of F.N.A slides were more than 90 percent. The sensitivity and specificity of F.N.A to detect malignancy in breast masses were 91 and 78 percent respectively in this study. We suggest that F.N.A of female breast mass can be a very sensitive and specific procedure in determining their biological behaviors. M3 ER -
