Abstract:   (5910 Views)

Two chlamydial species C. pneumonia and C. psittaci have important role in respiratory infections. In this survey a primer pair was designed in order to differentiate these two species in  one step by single PCR. This differentiation was obtained by having specific product length for each one. All experiments confirmed that the product length in these two species were distinguishable.   The test also showed high sensitivity and specifically for both species.
