Basal cell carsinoma is the most frequent skin tumor of the white people & radiotherapy is one of it’s known etiology. To determine the correlation of histopathologic type of basal cell carcinoma with previous history of radiotherapy.

Evaluation of retrospective inpatient & outpatient histopathologic & clinical files in Department of dermatology Loghman Hospital Tehran (between 1987 – 1997).

Radiotherapy induced basal cell carcinoma occurs in younger age group & is multifocal , the most prevalent type of radiotherapy induced basal cell carcinoma was pigmented type.
