Objective: Evaluation skin disorders in pregnancy
Setting and population: 100 pregnant women during half of 13 in Fatemieh Hospital.
Methods and Design: Cross sectional-descriptive study with prospective method.
Main outcome measures: In about 93% of women had pigmentary changes; the most frequentsite was nipple and the other local melanosis were areolae, face, lonea nigra and genital. Striae distensa appeared in 82%, the more often on the abdomen and other were buttocks, breast ^%, of women had skin tages.
Telangiectasis appeared in 44% of women, gingival edema 44%, palmar erythema 22% and hemorrhoid in 5% of women. Palmar sweating increased in 6% and diminished in 22%. Hirutism appear in 20% and Acnea in 22%, edemas of legs in 26%, edemes of eyelids in 4%, Nail changes were in 22%.
Conclusion: We emphasize that skin changes are frequent and polymorphous feature in pregnancy.
