Introduction: Anonychia is a rare condition in which the nails of the fingers and/or the toes are not formed.

Case Report: 18 years old man is reported with lack of nails and in addition, bone in the middle and distal phalanges of both feet since birth. No other abnormality was found.  

Conclusion: This condition occurs extremely rare and seemingly is a clue to the dependence of nail formation on bone.
